The study aims to reveal the interactions by caregivers of children with special health care needs(CSHCN) in Japan with their neighbors. We conducted the survey via questionnaire complete by caregivers of CSHCN. 35.7% of caregivers responded that they had interactions with their neighbors
while 57.1% said they did not. While some caregivers felt burdened by their relationships with their neighbors
others felt that it was a way for them to relax and reduce stress.
