月齢18か月から35か月の乳幼児の養育者101組（202名）を対象としてアンケート調査への回答と郵便による返送を依頼した。既存尺度の項目を参考にして，他者評定が可能となるように客観的に観察可能な行動や特徴をあらわした10項目を新たに作成して調査に含めており，それらの基本的信頼感と自尊感情の測定項目の基礎統計量ならびに養育者間の一致率を検討した。
