A proposal of the two-item self-esteem scale : Self-evaluation and self-acceptance as dimensions of global self-esteem

We reviewed the importance of two aspects of evaluation and acceptance in the concept of self-esteem
 and proposed the usefulness of developing a two-item self-esteem scale. The item expressions of the existing self-esteem scale were reviewed
 and the expressions and contents essential for measurement of very short form scale were discussed.
