一連の「漢語仏典における偈の研究」における成果の一部として中国撰述経典（疑偽経典・述作経典）において韻律の配慮（主に句末の押韻と句中の平仄）が施されている偈を研究の素材とし、①中華の詩との関係・②テキストの校訂と原初形態の復元・③撰述年代の推定・④経典読誦との関連性・⑤韻律の配慮にともなう疑経であることの露呈・⑥その他に分けて関連する諸問題を解明した。
