本発表は，日本から“Historical Transition in the East Asian Maritime Region
Ninth to Seventeenth Centuries: Pluralistic Sub-regions and Mutual interactions”のパネルを組み，その一部として発表した。発表内容は，自身のこれまでの研究を総括し，9世紀より銭塘江河口における砂地の伸張，その結果として居住区の確保と防波堤設置にともなう海岸線の確定によって，杭州城が交易の中心となり
