The Waste Land §5 “WHAT THE THUNDER SAID”, is taken from the “words of thunder” in Bṛhadāraṇyaka-Upaniṣad 5.2. It is extremely rare for the Addendum including Chapter 5 Thunder's Words to be studied and interpreted. T.S. Eliot focused on the language of thunder and made it the theme of the final chapter of The Waste land. I introduce B.Dylan's Desolation Row to close this article.
