相模原やまゆり園の入所者大量殺傷事件や障がい者大量解雇、障がい者への強制不妊手術等、障がいのある人の生命や人権を脅かす事件が後を絶たない。鳥取県発祥のあいサポート運動は、「障がいを知り、ともに生きる」というスローガンの下、全国へ広がりを見せている。ボランティア実践としての活動がどのように展開されているのか、福祉教育からあいサポート運動の意義について検討した。
