北野社の祭礼である瑞饋祭をとりあげ、中近世移行期における祭礼の変化と村落の変質の関係を検討した。瑞饋祭に関わる近世以降成立の起源・由来の分析を行い、神饌貢納の変化の画期が永正年間頃にあることを指摘し、その背景として武家の所領侵略など貢納の母体たる村落の変質が影響していることを考察した。
